Meccanica is an extremely simplified do-it-yourself kitchen furnishing system designed to reduce purchase costs for those who enjoy do-it-yourself, while permitting 100% recycling at the end of its life cycle, or reconditioning with 80% reuse. The system is assembled with a light metal framework, visible attachment hardware and mono-material doors (aluminium, wood or removable fabric). The furnishings are easy to assemble, and can be personalized or transformed over time, a fundamental rule for repairable design.
