An installation that investigates the expectations of customer service and suggests that the story of consumption doesn’t necessarily end when a person buys an item and leaves the store. Created in collaboration with the Serpentine Galleries of London, Gamper has designed for the installation eight mini-workshops dedicated to fixing products, spontaneously brought by members of the public, free of charge. A very precise critical design action, proposed to la Rinascente department stores during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile to encourage people to keep their things instead of throwing them away, and to improve what they buy rather than throw it away
