An investigation conceived to bring together an emergent community of research around issues of repair (practice-based research, arts-based research, as well as traditional academic inquiry and activist research) to establish a network of researchers and practitioners who are exploring different aspects of mending. The objective of its founders is to map the state of the art, to devise a critical agenda for mending research, and to disseminate and promote mending practices and enterprises on a local and national.
