RECLAIM REPAIR
University programs and Research Centers on the design of the future have already started to work on repair as a potential response to the problem of the environmental impact of waste, especially in the case of discarded electronics (e-waste).
Reclaim Repair
CHI 2013, Workshop, ACM France, 2013
To respond to the demand for repair reskilling CHI 2013 included a special workshop – “Reclaim Repair: Maintenance and Mending as Methods for Design” – dedicated to computers. The international CHI conferences, a series of academic contributions and workshops on computer–human interaction, have been held annually since 1982 by ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) in different places around the world.
